Narkal Notes Newsletter
The Narkal Notes newsletter was first published in 1975, Volunteers from the community pulled together to create this newsletter to keep the Shire of Koorda up to date with the latest news. Since 2005, the Koorda Community Resource Centre has created and published the Narkal Notes, distributed to the community weekly on a Tuesday, except for a 2 week break over the Christmas and New Year period.
The local newsletter keeps the district up to date with the latest town and news notices, town events, sporting results, local business and surrounding towns advertising, jokes, church notices and much more…
Narkal Notes Subscription
The Koorda CRC offers annual subscription to the Narkal Notes by post or email. We print 50 copies yearly, with a 2 week break over Christmas and New Year. Please see costing details below-
50 copies via post- $200.00 Annually
50 copies via email- $35 Annually
Postals are printed in black and white and email is in colour.
Our local Koorda IGA also sells the Narkal Notes at no profit to themselves for $1 per copy, Thank you to them for their support.

Cover Page in Colour – $35 per edition
Full Page – $25 per edition
Half Page – $15 per edition
Quarter Page – $7 per edition
Less than a quarter page – $5 per edition
PLEASE NOTE – ALL business advertising, ANY money making functions or those having charges to cover expenses MUST be paid for (as above).
Community notices, sporting results, thank you notices, birthday greetings and news items of community interest are FREE on ¼ page only.
Community notices on a full page or functions raising money will be charged as above.
